Series 8800 for metal stile glass combines the ease of installation offered by rim-mounted devices with the clean lines of the Adams Rite pushbar. The star wheel bolt of the 8800 device achieves a new level of exit device security without sacrificing life safety in any way. A hardened steel strike plate is mounted to the door jamb. A unique nose guard on the bar interlocks with the strike to prevent jamb-spreading. Series 8800 is mounted with four screws, hidden from access. Bar installation requires only four 1/4" holes for Rivnut threaded inserts.
